Micah Ousley
Founder & Program Director
As Founder & Program Director, Micah Ousley leads the vision, programming, and overall direction of Next 5 Basketball Academy. His approach to youth development goes beyond teaching the game, using basketball as a vehicle to develop character, strengthen leadership, build confidence, and help young athletes discover who they can become.

Troy Bowers
Director of Basketball Operations & Player Development
Troy Bowers leads basketball operations and helps shape the Academy's approach to player development. Through intentional instruction, accountability, and a commitment to developing the complete athlete, he helps ensure that what Next 5 teaches is consistently reflected on the court.

Eric Lewis
Director of Community Engagement & Mentorship
Eric Lewis leads Next 5's efforts to build meaningful relationships with athletes, families, and the communities we serve. As a mentor, he is committed to helping young people develop confidence, character, accountability, and the life skills necessary to succeed beyond basketball.

Wilford Vales
Strategy & Operations
Wilford Vales helps guide the strategic growth and operational development of Next 5 Basketball Academy. His leadership supports the systems, partnerships, and long-term strategy necessary to expand the Academy's reach while remaining grounded in its mission.

Shawn Mason
Skills & Performance Coach
Shawn Mason focuses on helping athletes translate skill development into stronger overall performance. His training challenges players to improve their movement, execution, competitiveness, and physical approach to the game while developing habits that support long-term growth.

Darrell Flowers
Skills Development Coach
Darrell Flowers helps athletes develop the skills, habits, and understanding necessary to become more complete basketball players. Through purposeful instruction and accountability, he challenges players to improve their fundamentals, compete with confidence, and take ownership of their development.
